The Center for Environmental Sustainability and Human Health has invited Dr. Amir M. Niroumand from Simon Fraser University, Canada, to deliver a lecture at our university. The talk will provide an overview of the current state of the hydrogen energy industry in Canada, with a focus on the electrocatalytic production of green hydrogen. It will also introduce the development roadmap, technology integration, and potential collaboration opportunities with Ming Chi University of Technology through the Canadian hydrogen energy company, Greenlight Innovation.
This topic aligns with our university’s recent efforts to promote a green campus and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, it supports the core objective of SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. The lecture will introduce the emerging concept of electrocatalytic commercial-scale modules, along with recent advances in the mechanistic understanding of key electrocatalytic reactions and the development of performance diagnostic tools. We warmly invite all students, faculty, staff, and anyone interested to participate enthusiastically!
